DRAPLINE beginner guide

Your first year has one clear goal

DRAPLINE asks you to raise the Divine Dragon over one in-game year before confronting a catastrophe. Feeding develops her abilities, while the way you raise her also influences her personality and appearance. Treat your first run as a chance to learn how these decisions connect rather than as a checklist for a perfect ending.

The official description says a run can reach an ending in about an hour at its shortest. That is a description of the game’s compact replay structure, not a deadline you need to meet. Read unfamiliar menus and skill descriptions at your own pace.

Use a simple decision loop

Before choosing an activity or food, check the current information shown in your game. Decide what you are trying to improve, compare the options available now, then look at the result after the choice. Keeping a short note of the decision and outcome makes your next run easier to plan.

This is a planning method, not a verified optimal weekly schedule. We have not confirmed exact training gains, unlock weeks or feeding caps and therefore do not assign numerical targets.

Give your battle plan a purpose

The developer describes powerful attacks, defense with healing, and poison as possible approaches. Pick a direction that fits the skills you actually have. Read how each skill contributes: direct damage, keeping you alive, or supporting another effect. A coherent combination is easier to evaluate than several unrelated choices.

When a fight goes badly, identify the immediate problem before changing everything. Did you fail to survive, fail to deal enough damage, or choose skills that did not support one another? Use that observation to choose what to test next.

Carry knowledge into the next run

The official store describes repeated years and 25 eventual endings. Record the important choices you made and the ending you reached. Change one major direction on a later run so that you can compare the results. This advice concerns your own notes; it does not claim that specific stats, items or currency carry between runs.

Continue with the training, skill and ending guides below. Exact ending recipes and numerical build rankings remain unpublished until they can be verified.
